There’s something about Tennessee that just stays with you. I’ll never forget the time I packed up the kids and we all took a trip to the mountains — it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences of my life.
We spent the day hiking together, just me and all my kids, climbing through those Tennessee mountains like we were chasing something magical — and honestly, I think we found it. One of the most incredible moments was when we reached the top of a waterfall. Standing there, looking down at everything we had just climbed, feeling the mist on our faces, and hearing the roar of the water… it was surreal. And then we kept going, all the way to the bottom, taking in the beauty from every angle.
I saw so many breathtaking things that day — the kind of beauty you can’t explain, only feel. The trees, the fresh air, the sense of peace I had in my heart while being out in nature with my family… it just filled me up in the best way.
Tennessee really gave me something special. It’s not just about the scenery, it’s the memories I made with my kids, the laughter on the trail, the way we all felt so alive and connected. I think about that trip often, and every time I do, I feel this deep pull to go back. And one day, I will.
Until then, I’ll carry those memories with me — and the reminder that sometimes, the best views really do come after the hardest climbs.
